I think that should read “Loyd immediately notified…”
How exactly was this discrimination? At what place of employment are you allowed to steal borrow money to take a cruise, pay it back after you get caught, then keep your job?
The lobster dinner–okay I can see how she was maybe doing as she was told there, but c’mon!
Now that the old loyalties are apparently broken, there’s a good chance the gloves are about to come off. My guess is that we’ll hear a lot more in the coming weeks about how Knox County gov’ment actually operates, and more heads will roll.
It is entertaining and sad at the same time.
Expect to hear a lot of “we are unable to comment due to the ongoing litigation”…
What’s up with the mayor’s office originally releasing the statement that she was on medical leave (with the required documentation)? So, was she or wasn’t she? What’s up with this documentation?
Now this is where we are… Someone that got tossed under the bus has lawyered up and played the race card. Look for the rats to start jumping from this sinking ship at record pace.
You know, I like Mike Ragsdale. He’s genuinely a nice guy and has always been a stand up guy in everything that I’ve seen him associated with in the community. I can’t figure out how in the world we/he got to this point.

I saw a poster at the vet’s office last week. It was a photo of pickup truck full of friendly looking dogs. The caption said, “Tell me your friends, and I’ll tell you who you are”.

My understanding of the whole medical leave thing was that she is taking all of her accrued “sick time” and that her last day is August 26th or something like that.

She says she was FORCED to take medical leave and filled out no paperwork, while he says she was the one who filled out the paperwork.
